MIDDLE SCHOOL

The middle school program focuses on developing independent and responsible students who take an active role in their learning. The language arts curriculum concentrates on refining reading comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills and on exposing students to a wide variety of literature. Students read and interpret plays, short stories, novels, and poetry.

In mathematics students are introduced to pre-algebra and algebra with the focus on problem solving and the application of concepts to everyday situations.

Middle school students continue to benefit from art, music, world language and physical education.
